1. About this service
First 4 Fleet ("the portal") is provided by First 4 Towbars Ltd, Unit 52 Snow Hill Industrial Estate, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire LE13 1PH ("we", "us"). The portal lets our account customers manage their fleet vehicles, request workshop bookings, record vehicle faults, complete driver vehicle checks and receive MOT and booking reminders. By signing in and using the portal you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and access
Accounts are created by First 4 Towbars for approved account customers. Sign-in is by mobile phone number and one-time text message code. You are responsible for the security of the phone(s) used to access the portal and for the accuracy of the information entered by you and your drivers. Tell us promptly if a driver leaves or a phone is lost so access can be removed. We may suspend or withdraw access at any time.
3. Bookings
Booking requests made through the portal are requests only until confirmed by us. Diary slots shown are indicative and may change. We are not liable for loss arising from a booking that could not be honoured, though we will always try to offer an alternative.
4. Vehicle data, MOT dates and reminders
Vehicle details, MOT dates and history are drawn from third-party and public data sources and are provided for convenience only. They may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Reminders are a courtesy and not a substitute for your own legal obligations: it remains the operator's and driver's responsibility to ensure every vehicle is roadworthy, taxed, insured and has a valid MOT.
5. Driver checks and faults
The weekly driver check feature is a record-keeping tool. Submitting a check does not certify a vehicle as roadworthy, and a fault raised in the portal does not by itself constitute an instruction to repair or a confirmation that we will repair it. Serious defects should always be reported to us directly and the vehicle taken off the road where appropriate.
6. Text messages
By using the portal you consent to receiving service text messages (sign-in codes, booking confirmations and reminders) at the mobile numbers registered on your account. Message and data rates of your network provider may apply.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the portal, attempt to access other customers' data, or enter false or misleading information. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8. Liability
The portal is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the portal, including reliance on the data in it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Privacy
We hold the personal data needed to run your account: names and mobile numbers of your nominated users and drivers, your vehicles' details, and records you create in the portal (bookings, faults, checks, mileage). We use it only to provide this service and our workshop services to you, we do not sell it, and we retain it only while you hold an account. 10. Intellectual property

11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and the portal from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
